Taylor Swift surprised her fans with an unexpected old track during The Eras Tour show in Scotland. During the second night at Edinburgh’s Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday, Swift performed Crazier from the 2009 film Hannah Montana: The Movie, starring Miley Cyrus. “You get extra points if you know this next song because it’s a really old one,” the 34-year-old singer told the audience ahead of the nostalgic performance.
Taylor Swift surprises fans with unexpected mashup of 2009 track Crazier
The Cruel Summer hitmaker performed two creative mashups of four songs from different albums, seamlessly blending different eras. Swift also performed a playful rendition of the song The Bolter from her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department, and the song Getaway Car from her 2017 album Reputation, as part of the “Surprise Songs” segment.
However, the real spotlight was on the second mashup, which included Crazier and All of the Girls You’ve Loved Before, from her 2023 EP, The More Lover Chapter. As fans chanted the lyrics and cheered the Midnight singer on, Swift said, “Oh my god, you’re so incredible,” before singing the bridge of the song from Cyrus’ film.
For the unexpected performance, Swift wore an orange flowy dress paired with silver-heeled strappy shoes. The outfit is one of her newest outfits on the blockbuster Eras Tour. While she performed the first mashup on her signature brown acoustic guitar, Swift chose her grand piano covered in hand-painted flowers for the second.
Fans were surprised by Swift’s unexpected songs and shared their reactions on social media. One fan commented on a video of her performance shared on Twitter by X, “I’ve waited my whole life to hear her insane live performance… I’m just devastated.” The clip quickly went viral as it garnered over one million views on the platform.
