Taylor Swift has many celebrity friends, including Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner and Ice Spice. However, her girl gang has changed over the years. Supermodel Karlie Kloss was once the Cruel Summer hitmaker’s best friend. The two often made public appearances together between 2012 and 2016. Since then, they have rarely been seen together, leading to speculation of a rift between them. Amid the long-running rumours, Kloss made a rare statement about Swift on Monday.

The 31-year-old model has nothing but praise for the Blank Space singer. In a recent interview with Yahoo Life, she spoke highly of Swift’s music when asked to pick her favorite song from the pop icon’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. “I would name the whole album,” Kloss said, adding, “I mean, her music is classic.”

Kloss also made headlines for her appearance on the record-breaking world tour when a video of her dancing to Shake It Off went viral on social media. “She has so many hit songs,” Kloss added. “I definitely love Shake It Off.”

The pair first became friends around 2012 and grew close after Swift performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2013, where Kloss walked the runway. They became inseparable and were often spotted hanging out together. When Kloss became part of Swift’s “squad” of famous girls, the close friends shared a joint post on a Vogue cover in 2015. However, rumors about their alleged feud first arose in 2018, when the Midnights singer didn’t attend Kloss’ wedding ceremony.
