Taylor Swift’s best friend, Abigail Anderson, revealed her pregnancy using the pop singer’s lyrics. The 34-year-old shared a photo of her growing belly in an Instagram post on Wednesday, along with a line from But Daddy I Love Him from Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

“I’m having his baby,” Abigail wrote in the caption of the photo, in which she is seen showing off her baby bump while eating a Cheez-Itz. Though she didn’t reveal any other details, she appears to be hinting at the baby’s sex via a blue heart emoji.

Shortly after Abigail made the announcement, Swifties flocked to the comments section to congratulate her. One fan wrote, “OMG you should see our faces,” while another added, “I know Taylor’s fingers are hurting from knitting. Congrats.” Another fan commented, “Tay is an aunt again.”

To everyone’s surprise, the Cruel Summer hitmaker herself gave the most unexpected reply – “When the internet says ‘mom’ I think this picture is what they really mean.” Abigail’s announcement garnered reactions from other A-listers such as model Lily Aldridge, who wrote “congratulations” with several red heart emojis.

The soon-to-be mother, Swift, is expecting her first child with Celero Commerce chief technology officer Charles “Charlie” Berard, whom she married in September 2022. Abigail was previously married to photographer Matt Lussier from 2017 to 2021. Abigail and Swift have been friends since their high school days, where they first met in an English class.

“I have a lot of friends who do what I do. They’re either actresses or singers or something like that. But my best friend, Abigail, we met when I was 15. On the first day of our first year of school we were sitting next to each other and talking in English,” Swift recalled during an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
