Travis Kelce got a surprise serenade at a recent Taylor Swift concert, and it seems the stoic tight end wasn’t prepared for the emotional impact. Video shows Kelce wiping away tears during a song Swift chose, which was apparently dedicated to him. Meanwhile, Brittany Mahomes, who attended the final stop of the Cruel Summer singer’s tour in the Netherlands, was seen coming toward him to console him.

NFL star Travis Kelce was in attendance at Taylor Swift’s show, which may be his final opportunity to see her perform before he begins his rigorous NFL training program in the coming month. Yet, the evening took an unexpected turn when Swift delighted the crowd with an extraordinary mix of songs. Swift, known for her habit of mixing medleys into her set of songs during concerts, performed a combination of So Mary’s Song (Oh My My) from High School and Everything Has Changed from her Red album under her recently launched album The Tortured Poets Department.

Fans, and presumably Kelsey, quickly picked up on the hints and realized the song was a heartfelt tribute to her. The video shared on X showed Kelsey grooving to his girlfriend’s performance, snapping a picture of her last show of the Eras Tour in Amsterdam on his phone and then wiping away his tears.

The concert was also attended by Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes. The couple has been close to Kelce since the beginning of his NFL career. During the concert, fans noticed that Brittany ran over to Swift’s boyfriend when he was crying. She talked to him and tried to console him. Although the conversation couldn’t be heard, fans praised her kind gesture.
“I had tears in my eyes when I saw her cry, but I completely broke down when Britney came to see her,” one x user wrote. “OMG, what a mother, she is so kind,” another wrote. “Kelsey got some good friends to support her, Swift is safe,” another added.

Swifties also praised the “Fortnite” singer’s creativity as she seamlessly blended one track into another. One particular line from her old song, where she sings “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89,” caught everyone’s attention. Fans interpreted it as a reference to Kelsea’s jersey number 87 and Swift’s birth year of 1989. At the end of the concert, the two were seen hugging each other as they waved to the crowd while exiting the stadium.
