The much awaited teaser for the upcoming romantic drama ‘Abir Gulal’, which was unveiled on Tuesday starring Fawad Khan and Vanni Kapoor, promised a story with love, flirtatious and hearty feelings.

The teaser opens with a question: “The last time you fell in love?” It then infection in the character of Fawd Khan with the classic ‘Kuch Na Kaho’, which was originally sung by Kumar Sanu for the 1994 film 1942: A Love Story. Sitting next to him in the car, Wani asked fiercely, “Are you molesting me?” Which shoved replied to the cheek, “Do you want me?”
Sharing the teaser on social media, the manufacturers captioned it: “Waiting is over! Bringing love back on the big screen with Abir Gulal and @Fawadkhan81. A rich lens film @ARICHERLENS. Watch in theaters on 9 May!”

Directed by Aarti S Bagdi and produced by Vivek B. Aggarwal, Avantika Hari, and Rakesh Sippy, ‘Abir Gulal’ has been slaans for a dramatic release on 9 May. The film was shot in London, in which production stopped on 29 September last year. Production House, Indian stories officially announced the project at that time.
Director Aarti’s Baghdi shared insight into the first story, described it as the discovery of love and emotional treatment. He said, “The film examines the journey of two persons, which inadvertently help fix each other, with love bloom as an unexpected result.” The shooting was wrapped in November, including various picturesque places in the UK.
Fawad khan’s Bollywood trip
One of Pakistan’s most famous actors, Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut in 2014, with Sonam Kapoor’s romantic comedy ‘Khobasurat’. The film also included Kiron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Hussain. He later acted with Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra in the 2016 family drama ‘Kapoor and Sons’ directed by Shakun Batra. His last prominent Bollywood outing was in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mukkil’ (2016), where he shared screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

On the other hand, Vani Kapoor was last seen in ‘Khel Khel Meen’, which was the co-act of Akshay Kumar.
