New Delhi: With the recently released spectacular trailer of the much-awaited film ‘Thangaalan’ and its chart-topping first single, “Murga Murgi”, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to keep the excitement for the film alive forever. Now, to further add to the growing anticipation, the team has declared August as “Thangaalan Month”, leading up to the film’s grand release on August 15, 2024.
The creators unveiled a vibrant poster to mark the beginning of Thangalan month, along with an exciting caption:

The star-studded cast of ‘Thangalan’ is also set to go on a nationwide tour, stopping at major cities across the country. Fans in Hyderabad will get a chance to meet the team on August 4, followed by Chennai on August 5, Bengaluru on August 6, Mumbai on August 7 and Kochi on August 9. Attendees will also get an opportunity to interact with the film’s lead stars, including ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, GV Prakash Kumar and director Pa Ranjith.
‘Thangalan’ promises to be a cinematic spectacle, drawing inspiration from the real-life history of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) and its exploitation during the British colonial period. The film is set to continue South Indian cinema’s tradition of presenting unique and compelling stories.
‘Thangalan’, starring Chiyaan Vikram and Malavika Mohanan in the lead roles, will release in cinemas worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on August 15, 2024. The film’s music composed by GV Prakash Kumar is expected to further enhance its appeal.
