In an interview with Filmfare in 2014, Karthik opened up about this famous ‘kissing’ scene with actress Mishti Chakraborty, who made his debut under the direction of Subash Gai. When quizzed about this, he clearly said, “Maybe, Mishati kept making mistakes intentionally. Subhashji wanted a emotional kiss. I did not know how to kiss. I was going to ask him, ‘Sir please show me how to do it!’
