The more things they change, the more they live. More than 20 years ago, Palestinian writer Rana Barakati was quoted in search of Palestine, “Palestine-in-Axil is an idea, a love, a goal, a movement … a poem, a poem, a thesis, and yes, a people were scattered, displaced, disputed and firm.”
Not much has changed since then. Palestinians, if anything happens, has been destroyed today. But as Barkati said, it is a movement, a poem, an art.

Jawahar Bhavan is giving Palestinian art some space in New Delhi, hosting the ‘The Body Ko Palestine’ exhibition characterized by Palestinian, Indian and some other international artists. Curateed and organized by Kolkata -based Amit Mukhopadhyay and organized by Sazam, which is the digital prints of some best Palestinian works in the exhibition, investigating the impact of Israel’s occupation on Palestinian life. It speaks of love and loss, pain and unrelated pain.
A New Delhi -based artist Aban Raza says, “This is an attempt to show solidarity with Palestine. We are living in time when Palestine’s name is not always safe. There is an attempt on repression; sometimes people are not allowed to show solidarity. It makes the exhibition even more important. It is an attempt to channel our angle.”
“Working on performance, a sense of opposition, unity on the question of unity on the question of unity and in the context of colonialism that settled in the context of colonialism that is destroying a lot of fabric of Palestinian life and culture,” confirms Amit.

He says that the work reminds of long struggle to be unprecedented and free from cruelty in our time. Most are just black and white, which make a unique appeal to the show.
“This reminds us of Holocost,” says Amit. We have heard of people being arrested to highlight the Palestinian flag, and most of the social media is either silent on Israel’s atrocities, or even support. This exhibition was not kept together, where artists talk about displacement, refusal, even death, is more courageous than an artist’s brush?
“If you are looking for the truth, the question of courage does not matter. You have to find the truth of reality and life and the truth of life for so many years.

The exhibition has digital prints of the work of Palestine artists, as most of the Gaza could not travel or send their original actions due to violence. “It was important to speak. As we could not expect to achieve the original tasks due to the frequent killings and bombing of innocent people in Palestine, we got digital prints of many tasks,” Raza says.
This idea was to awaken, awakened and understand the plight of Palestine and Palestinians. Delhi’s date with Palestine could not be done at a better time.
