The first reviews of Deadpool and Wolverine are here.
Deadpool and Wolverine is Marvel Studios’ first R-rated film and is expected to open to a whopping $165 million in its opening weekend this week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first reactions for the full film are pouring in on the social media platform X before the official critics’ reviews. The film is said to be a savior for Marvel after its previous failures at the box office and OTT platforms. Viewers were also surprised by the cameos made by the Deadpool team.
“Deadpool and Wolverine is a lot of fun. Marvel surprised me by making it an homage to the Fox superheroes, but it plays really well. Fun, bloody, and extremely satisfying. A blast that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Well done,” wrote one user on X.

“It will surprise no one that Deadpool & Wolverine reactions are calling this the best Marvel since ‘Endgame’. We’re back,” another user wrote, while a third added, “Deadpool & Wolverine feels miraculous. A high-energy ode to superhero cinema past that transcends nostalgia into candy store madness, the Ryan Reynolds/Hugh Jackman duo is everything you wanted and more, despite some raunchy toilet humor.”

Hollywood handle on X wrote, “#DeadpoolAndWolverine is as exciting as you would expect. It manages to keep the same tone as the previous films with super funny jokes and a story that will make you laugh and cry. Hugh Jackman has given one of his best performances as Wolverine and the film has several great surprises which thankfully don’t affect the course of the story.”
Brandon Davis, a verified user on XBD, wrote, “Deadpool and Wolverine is a crazy, explosive Marvel wet dream. Lots of surprises but with epic action, extreme violence, and relentless humor (most of which landed for me). Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds did a great job. There’s a lot to take in. I had a lot of fun.”
