the greatest ever ,goat) The internet went into a frenzy this weekend when the makers of Vijay’s upcoming film with Venkat Prabhu unveiled a stunning trailer on Saturday. While fans have been having all sorts of thoughts since the trailer was released, netizens were equally impressed with director Venkat Prabhu’s funny reactions during the film’s trailer launch event.
Filmmaker Venkat, known for his wit, candidly answers questions ranging from Vijay’s political foray to comparisons with Will Smith. Gemini Man Use of the term de-ageing and in reference to Ajith Kumar Mankatha — have gone viral on social media.
Thanking his producers and the technical team behind the film, Venkat said that he is aware that Yuvan Shankar Raja’s songs have received mixed responses. “However, I am sure that after the film’s release, the songs will prove to be a visual treat for the audience,” Venkat said.
As revealed earlier in a glimpse video, Vijay will be seen in a double role in this film goatOne of these characters is a younger version created using de-aging technology; the film’s trailer has further raised expectations as it revealed that there might be a third character as well. However, there is some confusion about Vijay’s de-aged look, especially after the release of the lyrics video of the song ‘Spark’.
Reacting to this, Venkat said, “I wanted to portray the other character as a 22 to 23-year-old man. In fact, Vijay sir also wanted me to ensure that the character resembles him. His face is such a familiar face, and so it is difficult to get used to major changes. It was a learning curve for us as well; after the reactions to the de-ageing in the ‘Spark’ video, we realised that we shouldn’t experiment beyond a limit and so we reworked on it. This is also one of the reasons for the delay in the trailer release. The de-aged look in the trailer is the closest to the final version that will be shown in theatres.”

The use of the term de-ageing and Vijay playing a father-son role led to speculations that the film is inspired by Will Smith’s 2019 film Gemini ManVenkat rubbished it and said the comparison was unfair.Gemini Man It was the first film that used the technique. And just because we are showing the hero as younger, it doesn’t mean it is similar to that film. If it is, then the idea of my film Chennai 28 II — that a groom disappears before his wedding — it should be made into a similar movie HangoverVenkat replied, “Was it like that?”

Vijay sir looks at a film as just a film. goat This is a commercial film which has nothing to do with politics.
Meanwhile, Vijay has also announced that his next film, tentatively titled ‘ Thalapathy 69 Directed by H Vinoth, the film will be his last film before entering politics.
