The Internet sides with Rihanna in response to Naomi Campbell and Law Roach’s alleged ‘polite’ sarcasm

A major topic of discussion among netizens was that Rihanna allegedly ignored Naomi while walking to her seat. This especially comes after the fact that she greeted Ghanaian-British editor Edward Enninful. A week ago, Law dropped a video on his Instagram handle in which he was seen alongside Naomi as the two made particularly scathing comments on the ‘too polite, too careful’ trend. In between the interludes of ‘too polite’, ‘too careful’ and ‘too cute’, the two communicated to the tune of “we don’t come with our breasts or our chins” and “it’s not about showing yourself, it’s about showing clothes”. Immediately, it was speculated that Law and Naomi were actually insulting Rihanna in regards to her dress. Although there was no direct reference to Rihanna, the internet has certainly never been about mincing its words.

Commenters were quick to post their own spin on the ‘very polite’ speech, all of whom disagreed with the route taken by Law and Naomi. Some of the comments on the tune read: “Too old, too upset, too sad 😭” and “This is too thirsty, too rude, I want too much attention…”. Continuing the notion that the video was targeted at Rihanna, some other comments made clear how the singer and beauty mogul’s alleged ignorance to the pair was self-evident. Some of the comments read: “And that’s why she walked right past all of you”, “If you’re all upset that she ignored you all just say so. So sweet”, “Rihanna hurt all of your feelings 😩😂”, “I think this is shade from Rihanna and I hope she doesn’t react to it. It’s common behavior” and “Rihanna bit the dust on you all and you’re all upset.. very shady, very bitter and very insecure..”.

In another video posted by Law to X, he has denied all the allegations being made against him by the internet. He said, “You all always think something must happen. But something is always nothing…”
