Recorded the submissions made by Kumaraguru and closed the writ petition, which was filed against the blanket rejection of the sensor certificate. Passing interim orders, the judge on June 4 directed CBFC to list the objectionable parts.

Although Mr. Maran’s counsel said that his customer had reservation at the request to edit some scenes and dialogues of CBFC, the judge said, those issues cannot be done in the current writ petition and that it will be open to the writ petitioner to challenge them in a known manner for the law.

Mr. Maran produced Andrea Jeremia-Starrer Manushi Under his banner titled ‘Grassroot Film Company’. director Aram-Pam Gopi Nanner, the film’s trailer, which has been released last year, stated that the story tells the story revolving around the custodial torture faced by a woman on suspicion of being a terrorist.

The CBFC examination committee as well as the screening committee (an appellate body) refused to recommend the issuance of the sensor certificate for the film in September 2024 that it was against the integrity of the state; It had scenes that were contempt; It discredits government policies; A north/south depicts the stereotypes leading to the partition; And these were many scenes that were against the interests of the country.
