Lucas Bravo has given an exciting update that Emily’s fans in Paris are eagerly waiting. Recently speaking with the parade, the actor confirmed that season 5 of the hit Netflix series was officially prepared to start filming in May.
“We are starting the film in May,” Bravo revealed during the early night of Broadway Play Good Night, and Good Luck. “I think this is the best season ever.”
Bravo has depicted Swan -able chef Gabriel since the show’s debut. Made by Sex and City Mastermind Darren Star, Emily in Paris Stars Lily Collins Emily, an ambitious American market, who is navigating her personal and professional life in the city of light. Gabriel, Hartthrobe Next Door, has long been caught in a romantic rollercaster with Emily, who woo the audience with their will, they are not stress.
Although Bravo kept the story in wrapped, but he offered an attractive tampering about what is coming:
Bravo said, “I had lunch with Darren a few days ago, and he told me a little without telling me too much.” “I think fans are going to lose it. This is the best ever.”
The end of season 4 shifted Emily to Rome to lead a new branch of her luxury marketing firm, including her new flame Marcello (Eugenio Francinini). It is discussing Left fans with questions: will Gabriel chase him to Rome, or will be inherent in Paris?
Asked if the rumor’s girlfriend Shailan Woodley would meet him on the set, Bravo surprised and cleverly dodged the subject. A parade reporter refers to dating rumors, in which Bravo responded smiling,
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” Before that day, he told people that he was “really happy”, although he refused to clarify the nature of his relationship.

Despite his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, Bravo has not hidden his recent dissatisfaction with the series. In an October 2024 interview with Le Figaro, he expressed uncertainty about returning to the show, questioning whether it was worth investing five months in a project that no longer gave his creative spirit.
He spoke clearly about his expectations for Gabriel and went through deep character development and voice that the show sometimes underestimated its audience. Bravo accepted the lack of creative freedom and said that he had started searching for opportunities allowing for more personal expressions.
In a separate October 2024 interview with Indiwire, Bravo explained in his developed relationship with his character. He admitted that while “sexy chef” felt authentic in personality season 1, he has since felt fast different from Gabriel’s actions and the creative direction of the show. “I never felt so far from Gabriel,” he said.
