Actor Ben Affleck purchased the house on July 24, which would have been Lopez’s 55th birthday.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck publicly listed their Beverly Hills mansion on Thursday, July 11, at a price of $68,000,000. Affleck then bought a house in Los Angeles, the same day Lopez sold her New York condo. Interestingly, the new development in the couple’s property comes on her birthday, July 24, 2024. The news of their real estate exchange comes at a time when they are spending their summer vacations separately.

Affleck and Lopez’s new property transactions
Affleck closed the deal for his home for a whopping $20.5 million on the same day that Lopez finalized the sale of her condo in New York. Affleck’s new property, which includes 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, was designed by architect Cliff May.
According to People magazine’s report, the condo sold by the 55-year-old singer was a duplex with 4 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms and was priced at $23 million. The couple’s shared home in Beverly Hills was purchased in May last year for $60,850,000, which had 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms.
Both transactions occurred on Lopez’s birthday, which she celebrated with a Bridgerton-themed party in the Hamptons on July 20. Celebrations in New York followed, while Affleck remained in California.

Affleck and Lopez will be splitting up over the summer
The couple spent the entire summer apart, where the Batman actor was busy filming the sequel to The Accountant in Los Angeles, while Lopex spent her summer on the East Coast. The On the Floor singer was seen busy with a number of summer activities like riding a bike and hitting the gym.
A source said Lopez’s “summer is not what she originally planned, but she is making the most of it,” the source added. “She is always grateful to spend time with family. She had a wonderful weekend with family and friends. She loves to entertain and enjoyed her birthday party. She was in a very happy mood.”
The couple did not celebrate the 4th of July and their second anniversary as they were away from each other.
