A painter working in solitude; A theater director is creating a group of actors in a play-process; A chef transforms a simple dish in some foreign with just one component – these imageies were the piano playing piano of Karl Lachmeer who were involved in someone’s mind. His lectures at the Bangalore International Center (BIC) were based on the theme around the nocturn, but Carl’s music story covered an emotional boundary, which was also allowed for independent interpretations.
Diverse styles
Karl introduced each chosen composition, mostly from the romantic and modernist ages of Western classical music. From “religious ecstasy” and “Gothic horror” to tender memories, music puts the diverse nights together, contemplated, optimistic, calm and scary landscapes offered – all were involved in their music.
By Norwegian composer Edward Grigge, ‘Nocturno’ opened a meditation place for a place of meditation for a place of meditation, which moves to the end in a nightingel’s song. ‘Three Intermiji’, the second piece was not “Komal Lori”, but “A Lori for a Bachelor”, Karl said, German musician, Johannes Brahms wrote it in his twilight years when he felt he felt that he was writing any more music. ”
Interesting dule
Hungarian composer Franz Liszat’s ‘Benediction de Dio Dan La Solitude’ was included in milestones and challenges with a spiritual path. Packed with questions with such a discovery, a church’s music with ideas. Liske’s style of working style inspired him to invent the job “as a touring musician and teacher”, shared by Carl. Such nagets made both music and music alive for the audience.

Another Hungarian composer Bela Bartok’s ‘The Nights Music’ extended the “jungles of sounds” on a rainy night describing “bugs, frogs, rendrops”. The music of Bartok, Karl explained, is marked by the experiences of a country’s life that he was in favor of urban life. The sound of free-flotting emanating from this piece believes in the music noted, which Karl read while playing. Noticely, it was the only piece for which Karl used sheet music. Final piece by French composer Maurice Rayele, ‘Gaspard de la Nit’, found together with three small pieces, marked by neo-gothic horror, surprise (not pleasant), and strangeness, including a high tower, a rope dripping blood, insects, a spinning hobgoblin and a siren, which was over the love meat failure.
Carl said: “The stories of the nights” examine human relations with the night. There is badly and memory, peace and spirituality, as well as heartache and definitely, a spucare side of imagination. ” While studying doctoral in Cambridge, Carl examined the “more intimate sound world” and found himself “drawn” for Brahma’s music. It was the initial point of the work that later “was around three separate, major functions by Brahma, Liszet and Rahel.” He guesses that he will play the music of India’s “extraordinary, young musicians” next year, especially Yatso Chakraborty’s work.

Born and educated in Britain, Carl has performed across India since the age of 15 and currently lives in Goa. He highlights the significant difference between the Western classical music scene in Britain and India: “Here, it is quite young and expanding, while in the UK, it seems atrophing. It seems to be atrophing. Most teachers are waiting for a waiting list, and in this style there are increasing opportunities for musicians, although there is no developed as music education here.”
Carl also said that “for an active and entrepreneur musician, India is a land of opportunities.” He said that “out of nine lakh engineers graduating every year, only 42% get engineering jobs, while, music teachers with grade -8 certificate, which are equal to the 12th standard board examinations, earn very well and give a waiting list.” An experienced performing musician, who is experienced and emotional about teaching, said Karl said that he would encourage music students not to get a back-up degree, but is probably the only place on Earth as the only place on Earth as demanding supply to Western music to fulfill his passion. ,
