‘The Revolutionary’: Period Action Series First Look on Freedom Struggle Debut

after Freedom at midnightNikakhil Advani is back with another period series to re -look at India’s freedom movement. This time, this time, the maneuver for the armed revolution has moved from behind the backward and large -scale conflict.

Set to stream on Prime Video, upcoming series is based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s non-fiction book Revolutionary: How India has won its independence. Stories of the book of armed resistance against the British Raj, Subhash Chandra Bose, Aurobindo Ghosh, Bhagat Singh, Vinayak Savarkar, Bhikaji Cam and others focus on freedom fighters.

The title of revolutionaries, the new series of Advani, has a contingent of young artists. Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibh Ranta, Gurfteh Pirzada and Jason Shah Star picked up an armed conflict against colonial rule as fearless ‘revolutionaries’.

Currently on the floor, the series is being shot in Mumbai, Amritsar, Varanasi, Dehradun and other places. The show will stream on prime video in a grand scale, mounted, show in 2026.
