Ricccione: South Korean psychological thriller ‘Dakshya’ has won the Best International Natural Series Award in the opening edition of the Italian Global Series Festival (IGSF) on Saturday.
The film was written by Han Ah-Young and directed by Song Vion-Hwa. It stars Han Suk-Qu and Cha Won-Bin in the lead roles.
For his performance in the series, Han Suk-Qu reported the best actor in a drama series, reported the variety.
He played the role of a famous profiler torn amid love and doubt as he investigates a murder associated with his psychiatric daughter.
According to the variety, Lisa Mulkahi won the best director of a drama series for the UK show ‘The Assin’, while the best actress at a play series award went to Filis Logan for ‘The Pazal Lady’.
The drama Jury was led by director Christina Commonini.
Spain’s ‘Celeste’, written by Diego San Jose, took the Best International Comedy Series Award, while the Best Actress in the comedy series was handed over to the show’s Carmen Marchi.
Other Comedy category awards were included in Christopher Smith for Ireland’s’ Video Nasti ‘, and Best Actor, the Best Actor, raised by Ahmat Kurl for the Turkish show’ Gasel ‘,’ Variety reported.

According to the variety, under the chairmanship of the director/screenwriter Bill August, the Jury of the Limited Series Competition voted as the best limited series for the Ukrainian war drama ‘The Train’.
While the Best Director Award for International Limited Series went to Lucy Gafi for a co-producing ‘Mix Tape’ between Australia, Canada and Ireland.
In the same category, the Acting Awards went to Laure Kalmie for the ‘Reunion’ of Britain for ‘The Confident’ of France and Matthew Garn.
‘Kabul’, written by Olivier Demangel, Thomas Finkekat and Joy Lavi, was given a special jury award.
The Italian Global Series Festival took place from June 23 to June 28 in Risyon and Rimini, Italy.
