The trailer of JNU-Jahangir National University shows the clash of ideologies inside the campus

Mumbai: The trailer of the upcoming film “JNU – Jehangir National University” was released on Monday. It showcases the story of Saurabh Sharma, played by Siddharth Bodke, whose journey becomes a battleground against anti-national activities in the university.

According to the film’s narrative, these activities are carried out by left-wing students.

The film promises to highlight the complexity of student politics and ideological clashes in educational institutions.

The film also stars Urvashi Rautela, Siddharth Bodke, Piyush Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Vijay Raj, Rashami Desai, Sonnalli Seygall, Atul Pandey and Kunj Anand.

In his attempt to challenge the dominance of leftist ideology in the university, Saurabh also finds love and support from Richa, who becomes his life partner and pillar of strength. As he progresses in student politics, winning elections and taking up leadership roles, Saurabh opposes the anti-national agenda promoted by leftist students.

The trailer also shows the JNU 2016 controversy, where some students allegedly raised anti-national slogans.

The film will release in June 2024.
