Mumbai: Actor Tusshar Kapoor will be seen working with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary in the comedy thriller series “Das June Ki Raat”.
On Friday, the makers released the trailer of the show, which is directed by Tabrez Khan.

According to a statement, the show is based on the “extraordinary story of Panauti ‘Bhagyesh’, a man whose bad luck is so infamous that the residents of Raniganj prefer to stay at home rather than meet him. Born on the sad day of his father’s death, Panauti’s misfortune led to the closure of his father’s iconic single-screen theatre. Panauti’s only dream is to reopen the theatre and restore his father’s legacy. His journey is filled with unexpected, tumultuous ups and downs, landing him in one humiliating situation after another. Packed with colourful characters and hilarious mishaps, Panauti and his cousin Battu’s quest for love and fortune is a thrilling and heartwarming rollercoaster that will leave the audience rolling with laughter and glued to their seats.”
Talking about the show, Tushar who will be seen playing the role of ‘Panauti’ said, “When I first read the script of ‘Das June Ki Raat’, I was instantly impressed with the character and the storyline. It is a unique blend of comedy, drama and suspense which promises to be a fun show for the audience. ‘Das June Ki Raat’ will be released on Jio Cinema on August 4.
