The upcoming drama of the Jagari Theater, GratellClassic German fairy tale re -connects Hansal and GreatlleThe brothers were made famous by Grim. The original story follows two brothers, hansal and gratail, which, after leaving in the forest, tries to go back home. There, they wander in a magical house and fall into the clutches of a wicked witch. Through their courage and quick thinking, they cheat the witch, avoid captivity and return home.

Directed by Rebecca Sports, Gratell Investigates the concept of the house, and which defines it. “For me, in the main idea Hansal and Greatlle Finally the search for the house is about and all through the game, we see how the idea of the house can vary from person to another, ”says Rebecca.
The central idea is that the house behaves with salary that the house should not have a specific place or a specific person; You can create the feeling of the house at any place that you feel that you are. “We wanted to show how to ask a travel question, the minutes we become comfortable where we are, and if we stop asking questions, we cannot be able to move forward.”
“In this drama, the character Gratell has been developed into a person who always asks questions, and, because she wants to know, she raises an opportunity to find more answers, so there is an important force in helping both of them to return home safely.”
Ashik Salvan, who plays Greatlle, says that the character has been developed as a major representation of women in society. “In the story, Hansal is seen as a solution manufacturer, and Gretel is then seen as someone. We developed her character where she asks and contradicts, she found her way to do things, which eventually helps both of them,” says Ashika.
He also explained how stories are written normally and are told in such a way that men are usually heroes. “Women are always presented as supporting or following the hero. We tried to tell the story in such a way that Gratell is the hero.”
Akashe Gandhi, who plays Hansal, says, “Hansal plays the role of a responsible adult, showing that he is under control, even if he has no clue about what to do next. The character brings out a person’s humanity, what to do to be responsible for someone when you are not equipped to do it.” A Tech Uve, Akashe says, to keep sympathy for people care.
The music for the play will be performed by Anant Menon and Vedant Bhardwaj. Anant says, “The songs were written before the script came out, so a lot of scripts were improved on the basis of music.”
This production is a collaboration between Jagari Theater And OKP.
The drama will be staged on June 20 at 7.30 pm and on June 21 and June 22 at 3.30 and 7.30 pm.
