New Delhi: Famous filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has once again shaken the public discourse with the announcement of his upcoming film, The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter. Known to deal with the hard-touching truth, Agnihotri addressed the nation through a social media video, which presents a glimpse on the basis of the film and invites citizens to contribute to his research.
Describing the film as a “People’s film”, Agnihotri called for public input, especially about direct action day – a major historical moment for the story central. He revealed that the project marks the culmination of a four -year journey, which began with the sinner of Bengal, a political research initiative focused on a massacre.
In the video, Agnihotri raised a provocative question: “Is Bengal going to be another Kashmir?”-Suggesting the film that will serve as both a warning and a wake-up call. Along with actress-producer Pallavi Joshi and her team, Agnihotri has done extensive fieldwork, documentation of testimony to the residents of Bengal-a few in the century and analyzes archival materials including books and newspapers reports.
In his caption with the video, the filmmaker wrote:

Delhi files: Bengal chapter is directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and is jointly produced by Abhishek Aggarwal and Pallavi Joshi. The film is presented by Tej Narayan Aggarwal and IM Buddha Productions.
