New Delhi: Hartthrobi Karthik Aryan of the country, who had once opened the first Paralympics gold medalist Murlikanth Murlikant Petkar in Kabir Khan’s biographical game Chandu Champion to film the most emotional scene of the film. Sharing his experience, Karthik recalled, “The first shot we filmed was the public-gan-man, the scene of the national anthem, where Murlikant only won the race. When the anthem started and the medal was placed on me, I was on a wheelchair on the podium. I forgot all this.
He also revealed that this was a very first scene for the film. Director Kabir Khan asked if he would need glycerin to perform, but Karthik refused. “I told Kabir sir that glycerin does not work for me. I said,” Sir, let me go through that idea, and it will happen. ” When the scene started and played the national anthem, everything else disappeared.

Now, about a year after the release of the film on 14 June 2024, Chandu Champion’s influence resonates not only in the hearts of the audience but also in real life. Murlikant Petkar, a hero of real -life, was honored with the prestigious Arjuna Award this year. Karthik is now ready for an exciting slate of projects. The next is an untital musical love story directed by Anurag Basu, which is slapped for a Diwali 2025 release. That TU will be seen in Meri Meri Main Main Tera and Main Tera Tu Meri – both will be determined to hit theaters in 2026.
