New Delhi: Verustyle actor Sanjeev Kumar alias Harihar Jethalal Jawarwala, who created the prestigious hit love songs to love story remade to ankam life. The time of 1970 returned to the time when Sanjeev Kapoor was linked to his time co-star Nutan, Hema Malini, Sulakshman Pandit, Zeenat Aman. A name that was strong was Hema Malini The Doo Love Story began with the 1972 film Sita and Geeta’s set, the pair fell in love during the shooting of the song “Hawa Ke Upasahta”. The actor gave love hits with Hema Malini in reel life, failing to save her love in real life due to his condition.
When the trolley ride that brings them closer
It always happens that a real or reel-life moment that exposes a love story and for Sanjeev Kumar and Hema Malini, it happened on the set of Sita and Geeta. According to the an actor’s authorized biography by Hanif Zeveri and Sement Batara, the pair rose near by filming Sath with the iconic song Hawa on the sightseeing roads of Mahabaleshwar.
During the shooting, a trolley they suddenly became loose and dangerously approached a rock. Fortunately, the road turned inside the inward, protecting them from a fatal decline. The actors ran away with minor injuries, but close-death experience left a permanent impact. From that moment, Sanjeev and Hema became more concerned for one other and this bond soon blossomed in something special.
The love story of Sanjeev and Hema almost reached the pavilion but …
Sanjeev Kumar and Hema Malini were once in love, almost with marriage on card. His families also gave a remarkable green signal, Sanjeev’s mother, Shantaben, who was initially against her son who married an actress, changed her views after going to Hema’s house. He was fascinated by Hema’s grounded nature and warm conduct, and it seemed that love had won.
However, his story took an unexpected turn. Hema’s mother, Jaya Chakraborty, set a condition, Hema will continue to work even after marriage. It collided with the expectations of the Zariwala family. Shantaben and Sanjeev made it clear that if Hema wants to get married in her family, she would have to act. According to Gayatri Patel, Hema once promised Sanjeev that she would wrap her pending projects and leave the industry behind. But there were other plans of luck.
Kumar’s untimely death after the partition of Sanjeev and Hema Malini
Hema became the last road in his relationship with Sanjeev Kumar, finally led to the position of leaving her career after marriage, eventually led to the pair to participate. Years later, Sanjeev suffered a heart attack and underwent bypass surgery in the US, but on 6 November 1985, only 47, he died tragically after a large -scale cardiac arrest.
Despite the emotional past, Hema Malini eventually tied the knot with Dharmendra in 1980. Interestingly, two shared screen spaces in the 1975 film Sholay, a film which is one of the most prestigious works of Indian cinema.
