Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet starred together in Little Women.

When Saoirse scolded Timothy

During an event hosted by the British Film Institute and Vanity Fair on Wednesday evening, the Dune actor recalled the shoot for Little Women and shared an important lesson in timekeeping he received from Ronan, reports Variety.

Timothy admitted that his co-star Ronan once scolded him badly when he was holding up production by arriving late to the set. “I was trying to do this thing on the phone, and I heard a really loud bang on the door of my trailer, so I was thinking someone was dead, and I opened the door and there was Saoirse in the bald cap, and she She said, ‘Get to the trailer right now,'” Timothée Chalamet said.

first meetings

Before they met to shoot Lady Bird, which was written and directed by Greta Gerwig, Timothy was introduced to Ronan by Emery Cohen, who worked with him on the 2016 hit Brooklyn.

“I kept hearing this name ‘Saoirse, Saoirse’ and when I saw the spelling of the name I didn’t put two and two together because I’m an ignorant American, but then we started working, and I was immediately amazed , Timothy said.

Adding to this, Ronan said, “We were very lucky that we clicked immediately and we had Greta, who from day one seemed very excited about what was happening between us.”

Following release, both earned their nominations at the Academy Awards. Timothy was nominated for the film Call Me by Your Name, while Ronan received a nomination for his role in Lady Bird.

Chalamet said, “Everyone was focused on Genesis, especially Lady Bird.” “It was a small production and I think we had no idea how well received it would be.”

Timothée Chalamet will next be seen in The Complete Unknown, directed by James Mangold. The film is based on the summer of 1961 when 19-year-old Bob Dylan first arrived in New York City from Minnesota with his guitar and dreams of making it big in the world of music. This film is going to be released in theaters on 25th December. Plus, he’s already generating Oscar buzz for his lead role in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two. He will next star in Marty Supreme.

Meanwhile, Saoirse has been earning praise for her performances in The Outrun and Blitz this year. She will next be seen in Bad Apples.
