Huma Qureshi’s headline thriller “Bean” has been officially selected for the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2025.
The actress expressed her enthusiasm and pride as the film was ready for her global premiere on one of the world’s biggest cinematic stages. Speaking about this, Huma said, “Bain gave me the opportunity to play the kind of character that I had long prepared – for someone within the justice system, yet against the very big forces herself. It was a complete bliss to work with a team that was so emotional and fearless to tell a story that felt both important and universal.”
Huma, who has worked on several Indian and international projects, said that she is excited that the statement will have its own world premiere in the Discovery section in TIFF – a category that is known for the introduction of big names such as Christopher Nolan, Alphonso Kuron and Berry Jenkins.
