Tom Cruise is reportedly moving back to the United States after spending the last five years in the UK.
The Mission: Impossible star was living in the UK while working on several projects, including the latest installments of the series.
Cruise is said to have invested heavily in a penthouse in central London, but now that filming of Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part II has finished, he is preparing to return to his native America.
A source told Sun“Tom has made the UK his home for five years and he loves it here.”

The Top Gun actor made Britain his base during the filming of Dead Reckoning Parts I and II, reportedly saying goodbye to his British film crew before leaving the UK. He was last seen in Battersea boarding his helicopter to fly back to the United States.
“This was his basis for Dead Reckoning one and two, and now that he’s made the sequel he’s going home. It’s been an exciting journey for Tom and the longer he’s lived in the UK, the more he’s fallen in love with the country.”
‘Tom is waiting to return to America’
The source added, “There’s no doubt he’ll be back at some point once he’s greased the wheels for the next Mission: Impossible outing, but Tom plans to return to the U.S. to be closer to his son Connor and his friends. Are expecting.” ,
“The transformation has been pretty incredible – England have done him and his wider reputation around the world good, and he’s very happy about it.”
Cruz’s comeback comes as the US is dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, which has wreaked havoc in several states. His apartment complex in Clearwater, Florida was in the storm’s path.

Reports also indicate that Cruise was recently seen worried amid reports of the storm’s destructive power in London. More than 100 homes were destroyed in St. Lucie County, and millions of Florida residents were forced to evacuate their homes. He has owned his Clearwater apartment since 2016 and has enjoyed living there because of its proximity to Scientology’s international headquarters.
“I spend a lot of time in the UK, and it’s not just for work reasons,” Cruise previously told The Sun. I just love being here.”
