Key scene from ‘Tower of God’ season 2
The much-awaited second season of the anime series Tower of God It is set to premiere on Crunchyroll in India on July 7. On the occasion of the announcement, a new eye-catching key visual has also been released.
Season 2 follows Ja Wangnan, who struggles to cross the 20th floor of the tower. Despite repeated failures, Wangnan’s determination remains unwavering. His journey takes a new turn when he encounters Viol, a mysterious and powerful character. Wangnan invites Viol to join his team of regulars, and together they face new and difficult challenges.
There have been some changes to the creative team for the upcoming season. Kazuyoshi Takeuchi, known for his work Armored Trooper Votoms: Alone Againsteps in as chief director. Akira Suzuki replaces Takashi Sano as director, while The Answer Studio Co., Ltd. takes over production from Telecom Animation Film. Erika Yoshida returns to oversee the series’ scripts alongside writers Takeshi Miyamoto and Ryuji Yoshizaki. Character designs are continued by Miho Tanino, with assistance from Seigo Kitazawa and Isamatsu Kashima. Kitazawa also serves as chief animation director.
Composer Kevin Penkin returns to compose the music, while Niziyu performs the opening and ending theme songs.
Crunchyroll will stream it Tower of God Season 2 will be aired in multiple regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia. Tower of God The webcomic started by SIU in June 2010 has achieved great success with 14 volumes so far. The anime adaptation first aired in April 2020.
