Yash turned a year older on Wednesday (January 8). On the special occasion, the actor released the teaser of his much-awaited film, Toxic – a fairy tale for adultsThe 25-second teaser is a bold and engaging introduction to a world full of mystery and charm.
Yash walks onto the scene wearing a white suit, fedora and cigar in hand. The actor also shared a poster on his Instagram Stories.
Speaking about Yash and his creation toxicDirector Geetu Mohandas shares his views on the project. He described it as a story that challenges stereotypes.
During the teaser launch event, he said, “Today, as we release the first look of our film, we are also celebrating Yash – a man the nation respects for his vision and swagger. The talent has been witnessed and for those who know him or follow him, his journey, his process, is as mysterious as it is subtle.”
He added, “It is both a privilege and a thrill to write this captivating world with a mind that sees the extraordinary where others see the ordinary. When our two worlds of thought collide, the result is neither compromise nor Chaos itself – this is the transformation that happens when artistic vision meets the precision of commercial storytelling, crossing borders, languages and cultural boundaries.”
While reports have suggested the involvement of Kareena Kapoor and Shruti Haasan in the project, official confirmation is still awaited. It is being told that Kareena will debut with a Kannada film.
toxic It is reportedly based on the story of Goa drug cartel and is being produced by KVN Productions in association with Yash’s own banner, Monster Mind Creations, marking his debut as a producer. The film is scheduled to release in theaters in April 2025.

A source close to the project told Pinkvilla, “Yash has a substantial presence in Ramayana: Part One, with his character getting prominence in the sequel set in Sri Lanka. He allotted 15 days for the initial shoot of Ramayana: Part One Are.”
