Still ‘Chhawa’ trailer
Madock Films launched the much awaited first trailer ChorusAn action focused on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second Maratha ruler in Mumbai on Wednesday (January 22, 2025).
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film is a conversion of the Marathi novel named Shivaji Sawant’s name. Vicky Kaushal acted in the title role, bringing the story of the historical leader to the screen. Vicky Kaushal said that he is satisfied with his performance in the film.
“During the preparation, a lot of things happened, and I told Laxman sir that something was going right. I feel ashamed to talk about the preparations, now that work is done, but whatever was inside me, I gave all this, ”he said.
Between the thunder and chanting for Shivaji, Sambhaji and Mahadev, the trailer for the trailer Chorus Plaza was launched at Plaza Cinema in Dadar, Mumbai.

Rashmika Mandanna, who was last seen in a blockbuster pan-Indian film Pushpa 2, Queen Yasubai plays the role of a dedicated queen of Sambhaji Maharaj. Meanwhile, Akshay Khanna saw the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb as Magal Emperor Aurangzeb in a rugged appearance with long hair and a Mughal crown.
Rashmika Star recently faced a leg injury while working in the gym. “This is an honor, as a girl from the South, to play the role of the Queen. Yasubai is the most privileged and special role that I could be sought in this lifetime. I was just telling Laxman Sir that after this, I feel enough material to retire, ”she said.

After the pre-production work starting in April that year, filming began in October 2023. The shoot took place in May 2024. The music for the film is composed by Irshad Kamil’s songs by AR Rahman.
Initially it is scheduled for December 2024, Chorus It is now set to release in theaters on 14 February 2025.
