Karan Johar is the latest celebrity to be impressed with the new trailer of ‘Dabangg 3’. Kalki 2898 ADThe director-producer shared the trailer on his Instagram feed and wrote, “The grandest spectacle of the big screen awaits… packed with powerful and stellar performances by my favourite actors in the industry. I can’t wait for it to unfold for everyone, watch it on 27th June in theatres near… far… wherever you are!!!!” Kalki 2898 – A.D. It is directed by Nag Ashwin, best known for directing the National Award-winning 2018 biographical drama greatness. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan in lead roles. Watch:
A day earlier, SS Rajamouli had written a long note expressing his feelings about the trailer. RRR The director wrote about the film’s trailer on X (formerly known as Twitter), “This is a powerful trailer… It sets the right mood and tone to watch the film. Amitabh ji, Darling (Prabhas) and Deepika’s characters have a lot of depth and are really interesting.” About Kamal Haasan’s almost unrecognizable appearance in the trailer, SS Rajamouli wrote, “I am still stuck on Kamal sir’s look and his amazing style as always. The teaser of the film was released at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) last year. Kalki 2898 – AD is directed by Nag Ashwin, best known for directing the National Award-winning 2018 biographical drama Mahanati. The film marks the first collaborative project of Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, while the actress and Amitabh Bachchan have previously co-starred in the 2015 film Piku. Ahead of the release, the makers hosted a grand pre-release event in Mumbai last week. The event was attended by mom-to-be Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.
