Travis Kelce finally opened up about his surprise appearance at The Eras Tour show in London. During Wednesday’s episode of his podcast, New Heights, the Chiefs tight end said that “being a ham” was “totally different” for him. The 34-year-old athlete made his first cameo on Taylor Swift’s record-breaking world tour on Sunday, June 23.

Travis’ brother and co-host, Jason Kelsey, praised his cameo, saying, “You did amazing.” “Are you kidding?” Travis commented. “I was up there with three pros. Nothing can go wrong with Taylor on stage. [I kept telling myself]”Don’t drop the baby. Grab the baby,” the Kansas City Chiefs star explained.

She added that the cameo was actually her idea. “I thought, ‘How fun would it be if I rode around on a bike in the “1989” era?'” Travis asked the Cruel Summer hitmaker. “She started laughing and said, ‘Are you really up for doing something like that?'”
The NFL star continued, “I thought, ‘What? I would love to do this. Are you kidding? I’ve seen enough of the show. I should get a job here,'” adding, “They found the perfect part to hire me for on the show. … It was the safest choice.”

During the London show, Travis came on stage during The Tortured Poets Department. Dressed in a tuxedo and top hat, he took Swift on stage for the I Can Do It With a Broken Heart outfit change skit. Travis was all smiles as he held his girlfriend in his arms in front of thousands of people.
