Kelce reveals new details and nickname for Taylor

Travis Kelce revealed new details about his brief performance on a podcast show in June. When asked if there was any preparation before the performance, he said “not much.” He explained, “Taylor knew that when the lights came on, I was going to have some fun. She put me in a position where I didn’t have to do much to be successful. She put me in a very comfortable part of the show, and I was just there to not mess anything up.”

He admitted that he wasn’t focused on making Taylor fall while carrying her on stage. He said, “That would have been the most embarrassing thing I could have ever done. Carrying her to the couch was the hardest thing,” as People reported.

When Kelce was asked if Taylor made sure he wanted to perform and get on stage, he said, “Yeah, for sure. There was definitely a little bit of extra like, ‘Wait, do you really want to do this?’ But she was really fun about it, and you know, I’m always up for having some fun with Tay Tay on stage,” whom he calls Taylor by several nicknames.

Kelce’s different nicknames for Taylor

Kelce called Taylor “Tay” on a podcast episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce in January. Later that month, he called her “sweetie” in a viral clip of the two following the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win.

The Cardigan singer also talked about her performance on stage with Kelce in an Instagram post. She posted a lengthy note in June in which she referenced Kelce’s performance, writing, “I’m still laughing/smiling watching @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut. I will never forget these shows.”
