Reportedly, two suspects were arrested and found to be in possession of chemical and biological substances, while a large-scale attack on the crowd was successfully averted. Sources close to the couple revealed that Kelce was very shaken by the incident and expressed great concern for Swift’s safety.
Travis Kelce ‘consoled’ Taylor Swift on the phone for hours
As the NFL season comes to a close, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce is back in training camp. Having attended several of their shows and even performed in one, Kelce probably understands the importance of the Vienna concerts, which were unfortunately canceled.
As Swift was preparing to take the stage, an intelligence report revealed a planned terrorist attack targeting the 65,000 fans who would be arriving at the stadium. According to her representatives, the three shows in Vienna were among the final stops on the European leg of the Eras Tour, so their cancellation was particularly heartbreaking.

A source told The Sun that Kelsey was constantly on the phone with Swift as the situation got serious. “Travis contacted Taylor very quickly and spoke to her for a while to show his support and let her know how she was feeling in that stressful situation.”
“You could see he was trying to help her feel better and make her laugh, so that this situation and this day would be more fun,” the source added. The insider revealed how the tight end tried to do everything in his hand to make the situation less scary for her. “He always wants to make her laugh, and he loves hearing her laugh and feeling good. Kelsey and Swift, who began dating last year, spent much of the summer together, with the footballer travelling with the pop star on many of her concert dates. Now that he’s back in training camp, Kelsey wants him to know that she can trust him, even with the distance between them.

According to the source, he keeps a phone with her at night so he can call her if she needs him and he spent long hours on the phone with her after the Vienna concerts were canceled. Kelce is relieved that the shows were canceled, believing it was the right decision given the circumstances. The insider also mentioned that the athlete was so concerned about Swift’s safety that he offered to drop everything, including his NFL training camp, and go to her.
“They also suggested that if Taylor wanted to go to Austria and be there, even if it was just for a day or two, but Taylor would continue to work and focus on the next dates with the London concert in order to finish the Euro part in the best way possible,” the source added.
Authorities say some of the teenagers had jobs as security guards at the event and are believed to have planned to kill people at the concert using homemade bombs and knives. The suspects are still in jail, but Swift’s team took precautions either way. The Lover singer is trying to move on from this mess, taking a few days off after what happened in Vienna and then heading back to London to finish the tour in Europe.
