American rapper and hip-hop star Travis Scott was arrested on Thursday for allegedly yelling at people on a yacht in Miami Beach, Florida. He was charged with intoxication and unauthorized entry, according to police reports.

After posting bail a few hours later, Scott wasted no time in capitalizing on the incident and launching a new line of merchandise featuring photos of his Miami Beach arrest.
The Houston rapper has introduced a limited edition T-shirt featuring a modified version of his mug shot. The dark grey T-shirt, priced at $35, features an edited image of Scott’s mug shot with his iconic smile instead of the original blank expression.
The words “It’s Miami” are printed directly below the image.
According to the arrest affidavit, Scott admitted to drinking alcohol and when police were handcuffing him, he tried to defend himself by saying, “This is Miami.” Officers also noted that “the defendant’s breath smelled strongly of alcohol.”
“Mr. Scott was detained for a period of time due to a misunderstanding,” the rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, said in a statement.
“There was no physical altercation and we thank the officers for working with us to reach a quick and amicable resolution.”
The “Free the Rage #2” shirt featuring Scott’s photo is available for a limited time on his website and will ship within a week. A portion of the proceeds from the T-shirt sales will go to Scott’s charitable organization, the Cactus Jack Foundation.

This isn’t the first time Scott has turned an arrest into a business
In 2017, he sold a white T-shirt for 24 hours with a picture of himself during an arrest in Arkansas, where he faced charges of inciting a riot during one of his concerts. He later pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in 2018.
Just hours after his arrest, the rapper shared a photo of himself on Instagram, also wearing white headphones and brown glasses.
