Mumbai: Tripti Dimri became an overnight star after working in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal and since then she has never looked back. The actress has played roles in several big budget films; her recent release was Bad Newz starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Tripti’s alleged boyfriend Sam Merchant is quite excited about the film which released today. Sam Merchant shared a glimpse of the film on his Instagram stories and went ‘awww’ after seeing Tripti’s performance. “Brilliant performance, totally entertaining,” Sam wrote.

Tripti has been in the industry for many years now. She made her Bollywood debut with Bulbul and Animal was the film that gave her recognition. Tripti is overwhelmed with so much love and success. Talking about the overnight success after Animal in an interview with Hindustan Times, she said, “I think my career will change now. I always wanted films like Kaala to reach a lot of people. It has happened before as well, but now a lot of people are messaging me saying ‘we have seen your films’, it is a special feeling. I always wanted people to watch them.”
Tripti will next be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 opposite Kartik Aaryan.
