Mumbai: Varun Dhawan on Friday shared a photo of himself enjoying tea on the sets of his upcoming romantic film “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari”. He also thanked his co-star Sanya Malhotra for the “chai paati”.
On Instagram Stories, Varun gave fans a glimpse of the sets of the film. Varun is not visible in the picture, he is sitting in front of the screen holding a cup in his hand and watching the shooting of the scenes.
Sharing the photo, she wrote, “Thank you for the tea @sanyamalhotra.”
Sanya reshared Varun’s post on her Instagram story and wrote, “Welcome VD.”

‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles, along with Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan, the film will release in theatres on April 18, 2025.
In May, the makers held a mahurat puja ceremony. Janhvi shared a clip on Instagram in which she, Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Karan Johar and other actors are seen attending the puja ceremony.
Varun will also be seen in the upcoming action thriller ‘Baby John’. ‘Baby John’ is directed by A Kaliswaran.
Atlee is presenting this film in association with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios. He will also be seen alongside actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series ‘Citadel’.
It is an Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers’ series of the same name. Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden play the lead roles in the international version. The release date of the Indian version of Citadel is awaited. Raj and DK have made the Indian version.
