New Delhi: Actor Tushar Kapoor urged the audience to give a “chance” to his upcoming film ‘KapakPII’ for his director Sangeet Shivan, who died during the later production phase of the film.
While reflecting the final moments of the director, Tushar shared that releasing the film on the big screen was Shivan’s “Last Wish”.
In an interview with ANI, Tushar emphasized the emotional significance of his upcoming film, Kapkapai, called it an important release for Sangeet Shivan and his “Khushi”.
“I think the audience will decide whatever happens with the film. And we want the audience to give the film a chance. It is most important. And I think for music and his happiness, wherever he is, he is enough, he is enough,” Tushar said.
The actor of ‘Golmaal’ believes that the film may not be “better time” for the film to be released on a big screen when “horror comedy” is on growth and schools and colleges are closed.
“Today’s film is releasing on time, in a good time. When schools and colleges are closed, people are holidaying. And people want to like horror, comedy types of films. Especially in this stage, when they are free. So I would like to give this film a chance. For myself, for my entertainment and Sangeth ji.
The actor of ‘Golmaal’ recalled director Sangeet Shivan’s “last wish” and said, “It is clear that this (Kapkapai release) was his last wish, the release of the final film on which he worked. It is like his last wish. And we are trying to fulfill that wish, while it is getting ready to be released.
Actress Siddi Idnani, who made her Bollywood debut with the story of Kerala, is set to play a major role in the horror-comedy film KapakpiI.
Talking to ANI, the actress expected success from the film Kapkapii, which is similar to the story of her previous Bollywood enterprise, Kerala.
Siddhi Idanani said, “The story of Kerala found a very different type of reception, which was very close to the heart. And I hope we get the same kind of response with Kapkapi.”
Actress Sonia Rathi, who is also part of the Kapkapai Star Cast, opened her experience of working with director Sangeet Shivan. Talking to Annie, the actress said, “I was a little afraid to start it. To be honest, I was a little hesitant when I handled the character. But it was very fun. I mean, working with music, he really helped me overcome that filter.
