Mumbai: Television actor Abhinav Shukla has recently become a victim of online fraud. On November 21, the actor took to his social media account and revealed details about the scam that happened to him.
He revealed that his PAN card details were out and loans were issued in his name without his knowledge. In a video posted by Abhinav Shukla, the BB 14 contestant was seen sharing in-depth about the online scam.
He said, “Recently, a fraud happened to me and I am sharing it with you in such a way that it does not happen to you. But it may be happening to you and you may not even know. I applied for a loan for the first time in my life, and when my CIBIL report came, the bankers told us, ‘Sir, 6 people have taken loans in your name.’ Meaning, by using my PAN card, by creating fake email IDs, they are taking loans from different numbers and at different addresses just by using the PAN card.”

So anyone who has never taken a loan or had a credit card till date – please check your CIBIL score.
(Thankfully no money was withdrawn from my account, I will no longer be able to avail this loan. To get this loan, I first have to rectify my CIBIL report. You know how things work in our country; first of all, you have to go to the police station and file an FIR, then write to the CIBIL authorities, and after that… I am not sure what happens next. It is a long and difficult process. So, if you are someone who has never taken a loan or A credit card—like me, but please check your CIBIL score. It’s possible that this kind of fraud may be happening silently in your name too.)
