Directed by Sriram Raghavan, ‘Ikkis’ is a war biopic based on Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal. Youngest recipient of Param Vir Chakra. The film stars Agastya Nanda in the lead role, along with Jaideep Ahlawat, Suhasini Mulay, Sikander Kher and Rahul Dev.
Twenty One marks Dharmendra’s posthumous on-screen appearance.
Earlier in December, a special screening of Twenty One was held in the capital which was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. At the event, he interacted with ‘Ikkis’ actors Agastya and Jaideep Ahlawat and also honored the family members of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, who laid down his life at the age of 21 during the India-Pakistan war of 1971.
