All four members of twin strings are engineers – a default dream and requirement for every Indian. The twin Sagar and Sahil felt their music calling quickly, but completed their degree before diving. His cousin, Mohit Deen, were always part of the plan. When he contacted another engineering graduate man, he felt that he was joining as his keyboardists. Instead, they handed him the mic. And like this, twin strings were born.
In a music industry that thrives on strategy, structure and sonic branding, twin strings are refreshed. They call themselves “a casual band”. His visit began with late night jam sessions and collaborative trends, which was much larger than that of any of them.
After joining a video call, members of Twin Strings left the comradery and warmth, talking about their latest single, ‘Mahi Mere Mahi’, reflecting their journey so far, and what’s next on the horizon.
Sahil says, “We have never planned to build a band. “” We were just making music together – I, Sagar, and our cousin Mohit. Through cooperation, we met Manav, our star Gai. “
Each member of twin strings brings a different strength to the table. Manav is now the main singer and co-producer of the band. Sahil handles the arrangement of music and playing the keyboard live, even while his signature is a creative brain behind the mashup. Sagar View is the storyteller – in addition to playing guitar on stage, directing, filming and editing all his videos. Mohit Tech Wizard manages sound engineering, mixing and mastering, while also working as a band’s percuasonist.
Heart -to -heart song
His latest track, ‘Mahi Mere Mahi’, is becoming a rapid season’s wedding anthem. But its origin is individual. Sagar shared, “I got married three months ago.” “I wanted to do something special, and we thought, why wasn’t a song made for my wedding?” The song was shaped through several conversations, written by lyricist Aditya Sharma, who was the first hits like ‘Heeriye’. “He asked me how I met my partner and what was our love story. And there was a story without our grand gestures – just something that flowed naturally,” Sagar says. “This song reflects. When I played it for my wife, she was in tears. Seeing her made me emotional.”
Sahil clearly remembers the emotional effect. “We were running back after going back VidaiAnd the song was playing in the car. Everyone was emotional, especially during the final Alap Section. This is special for all of us. ,

Given the deep emotional and social resonance of the song, would the band consider creating an entire album, which was themed around weddings?
“We perform at a lot of weddings,” says Manav. “And ‘Mahi Mere Mahi’ fits perfectly for those moments. The response has been incredibly heart, and it has inspired us to detect more songs for special occasions.” Sagar says, “We are already listening to couples planning weddings in 2025 and 2026, telling us that they want this song to be part of their big day.”

“Our earlier track, ‘Asar of rain’, was also a popular option,” Mohit Note. “It was used by many couples, including celebrities, so ‘Mahi Mere Mahi’ can only grow up.”
Despite the success of its romantic track, the band says there is no fixed formula. “We have not really worked with a plan,” says Manav. “Everything has become organic. But yes, people know us for their sweet, soothing, romantic sound. He said, we are now more excited, looking for felt-good music, as if you will enjoy on the road trip.”
Lounge music
Band’s popular YouTube series Twin String Lounge Coke was born out of praise for the studio. “We have long been a fan of Coke Studio,” says Sagar. “Then we thought, why not something of our own?
Started with a chain Sufiana Sham And has shown cooperation with artists such as immense Khurana, Sukriti and Prakrit Kakar, and others. “People loved it so much that they asked us to make it a series. All this happened systematically,” Sagar is called.

When it comes to choosing the cover, the band follows a simple rule: they choose what they love. “The longest time, we covered only the songs that we loved,” says Manav. “Perhaps only one or two trending were based. Otherwise, it has always been heartily.”
As the twin wires continue to grow, the band proudly remains style-fluid. Sahil says, “We are in a phase of experimenting with sounds – from melodious acoustic to the 80s synthes, funks and even electronic dance music,” Sahil says. For Manav, it is about embracing the full spectrum of their production skills without boxing in the same category. And while cooperation and additional musicians are always welcomed, Sagar assured that the core quarter remains “self-contained”-a tight-based unit with freedom to detect freedom, innovation and deliver music that resonates.
