New Delhi: Fujifilm India launched the breast cancer awareness CSR campaign with Worship Kamaminani Kondela as ambassador to its campaign. The purpose of this CSR campaign is to spread awareness about breast cancer and motivate women to take charge of their health.

Fujifilm India, a leader in Healthcare Technology, has launched its latest CSR campaign, ‘Find it quickly, fight it early’In the presence of Ms. Upasana Kamamani Kondela, Vice Chairperson of CSR, Apollo Hospitals.

This initiative focuses on creating awareness about breast cancer and early detection importance, especially in undested areas where interaction around women’s health is associated with stigma.

This awareness campaign will be implemented 24 citiesTarget to reach 1.5 lakh women Through structured community engagement, health risk assessment and efforts to sensitize under the leadership of trained sector teachers.

The program is being implemented by the Apollo Foundation and the Fujifilm for the creation of a more informed and health-individual society reflects India’s commitment.

‘Find it early, fight it early’ initiative

Breast cancer is one of the most popular forms of cancer in Indian women. According to the National Cancer Registry Program by the ICMR, it is for about 14% of all the cancers diagnosed among women, with 1 in 29 women at risk of developing the disease during their lifetime. It is also found in advanced stages due to stigma, limited awareness, and lack of access to timely care.

‘Find it quickly, Fight It Early’ is designed to solve these challenges by creating reliable, culturally sensitive information available at community level. By facilitating respectable, open interactions through on-ground workshops and awareness sessions, the initiative encourages women to be more active in their health journey, which they are able to recognize early symptoms, understand self-examination techniques, and seek medical consultation on time.
