Skai Jackson’s domestic violence case has reportedly been dropped after prosecutors did not find enough evidence to pursue the initially scheduled trial.
Skai Jackson will not face any charges after she was reportedly arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. The former Disney Channel star, who played Jessie and Zuri on the Bunk’d series, was taken into custody on Friday, August 9, after allegedly pushing her boyfriend twice at Universal Studios Hollywood. After reviewing camera footage, law enforcement officials deemed her the “main aggressor” in an alleged fight against her partner.
According to a new report from TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has dismissed the domestic violence case, saying there isn’t enough evidence to start a trial. They also said they can’t file charges against her because Jackson has no criminal history. Furthermore, her boyfriend, who is the alleged victim in the case, has not suffered any injuries and has also refused to cooperate with prosecutors, leaving nothing to pursue in the case.
