New Delhi: Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela often makes headlines for her fabulous fashion sense and charismatic personality. However, recently she has grabbed attention for a different reason. The actress faced criticism and became a target of trolls after she shared a video on Instagram in which she was hospitalised due to a minor injury.
Recently, Urvashi shared a reel on Instagram, in which she showed a video of herself with a cut on her finger. In the footage, she is sitting in a hospital chair with an oxygen mask, wearing a white robe and reading a book. The post was captioned: “Pray for me,” and it has garnered over 11.9 million views.
The video did not go down well with many viewers, who expressed their opinions in the comments section. One user commented, “First Indian woman to be hospitalised after a small cut on finger,” while another suggested, “Needs surgery.” Other comments included remarks such as, “Urvashi, Urvashi, aaraaj se raho Urvashi,” “Overacting ki dukaan” and “Arre kaafi khoon bah gaya, donor toh nahi chahiye?”
Talking about the work front, Urvashi won the title of ‘Miss Diva – Miss Universe India 2015’. She started her modeling career at the age of 15. The 30-year-old actress has appeared in films like ‘Sanam Re’, ‘Great Grand Masti’, ‘Hate Story 4’, ‘Pagalpanti’ and ‘Jehangir National University’. Her upcoming films include ‘NBK 109’, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and ‘Kasoor 2’.
