Usher is set to release his new concert film ‘Rendezvous in Paris’

Singer-songwriter and dancer Usher announced the release of his concert film “Usher: Rendezvous in Paris,” chronicling the artist’s eight-show experience in Paris in 2023, reports PeopleAccording to the press release, the concert film, which was captured at La Seine Musicale during Paris Fashion Week, “encapsulates the essence of her landmark cultural event Vegas residencies into a seductive French touch confessional.”

“Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans,” Usher said. “I hope those who couldn’t attend in person were able to experience how special it was. For those of you who attended, I hope you experience the show and see what it takes to get there from a different perspective.”

Directed by Anthony Mandler, the film features Usher’s hallmark singles such as ‘My Boo’, ‘Yeah!’ and ‘Love in This Club’, featuring “groundbreaking costumes, state-of-the-art lighting and special effects”. It will also offer audiences “a glimpse of life beyond the stage”.

Produced by AMC Theatres Distribution and Trafalgar Releasing in partnership with Sony Music Vision, the film will have a limited distribution in approximately 2,000 theaters worldwide from Thursday, September 12 through Sunday, September 15.”

For over 30 years, Usher has entertained audiences with his music and concerts. Just a few months ago, he earned rave reviews for his stellar performance in front of 129 million viewers during the Super Bowl halftime show.

Usher’s next tour, ‘Usher: Past Present Future,’ will feature classics from his debut album, 1994’s ‘Usher,’ as well as new songs from his ninth studio album, ‘Coming Home.’ The ‘Burn’ musician will kick off his tour on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
