Ujjain: Actresses Raashi Khanna and Vaani Kapoor reached the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning to seek blessings. Dressed in traditional saris, Raashi and Vaani can be seen immersed in devotion.
On this occasion, the artists also participated in ‘Bhasma Aarti’. Bhasma Aarti (offering ashes) is a famous ritual here. It is performed during Brahma Muhurta between 4 and 5:30 in the morning. To participate in Bhasma Aarti, they wore sarees following the tradition of the temple committee. Wearing sarees is mandatory for women in Bhasma Aarti.

During the Bhasma Aarti, Rashi and Vaani sat in the Nandi Hall of the temple and performed the Puja. After the Puja, Rashi Khanna and Vaani spoke to ANI and shared their feelings.
Raashi said, “It was a great joy. I hope Mahakal calls us again.” Vaani said, “It was a great feeling… Jai Mahakal.”
Talking about work, Raashi Khanna was recently seen in the Tamil comedy-horror film ‘Aranmanai 4’ alongside Sundar C and Tamannaah Bhatia.
The film is written and directed by Sundar C and produced by Khushbu Sundar under the banner of Avni Cinemax.
On the other hand, Vaani is all set to entertain the audience with ‘Khel Khel Mein’. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk and others.
‘Khel Khel Mein’ is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha and Ajay Rai.
Vaani Kapoor will play the lead role in the upcoming Bollywood drama-comedy ‘Badtameez Gill’ which is the story of a girl and her family living in Bareilly and London.
‘Badtameez Gill’ is produced by Nikki Bhagnani and Vicky Bhagnani, Vinay Agarwal, Ankur Takrani and Akshad Ghone. It is directed by Navjot Gulati, who has written films like Running Shaadi, Ginny Weds Sunny and directed films like Jai Mummy Di and the soon to be released Pooja Meri Jaan.
He also has ‘Red 2’.
