Hollywood star Val Kilmer, known for his roles top Gun, Batman ForeverAnd DoorsHas died at the age of 65. His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer confirmed this news the new York TimesSaying that he died of pneumonia after years of health conflict after diagnosis of throat cancer in 2014.

With his striking look and mercurial talent, Kilmer created a career, swinging between lead-man stardom and eccentric, visible character work.
