In the caption, Bertinelli also revealed that the blonde look was actually a wig styled by celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, who is known for working with Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.

She’s always been real about aging and her gray hair
This isn’t the first time Bertinelli has surprised fans with his new hairstyle. In a now-deleted clip, last year, she shared a “PSA about filters and gray roots” on Instagram, referring to the comments she received about using filters and coloring her hair.
She said in the video, “I’m filming without a filter today because some of you really get in shape when I choose to use a filter. Sometimes I use a filter, sometimes not. Most of the time, I do it because this is me without makeup and it’s no filter.”

When a follower accused him of wearing a wig, Bertinelli responded with humor. “Can you please get me a wig without flipping the gray hair?” She said, tilting her head to show her real hair. She added, “I’m tired of getting my roots done every two weeks.”
Despite criticism from time to time, he thanked most of his fans for their support. She added, “Thank God 99.9 percent of you are really kind, loving people and whether I have roots or have a filter on, I don’t care.”
