Washington: Writer LJ Smith, whose bestseling novel series, ‘Vampire Diaries’, was adapted to a hit TV show of the same name, died at the age of 66, reported the deadline.
Referring to a New York Times report, Deadline said the Bestseling writer died on March 8 in Walnut Creek, California after a decade of a rare autoimmune disease affected the effects.
A statement on the author’s website said that she died peacefully after the “long match” of the disease. This described the author as a person with a “kind and gentle” soul, whose talent, creativity and flexibility helped to improve the lives of his family, friends and fans.
It said, “Lisa was a kind and benign soul, whose talent, creativity, flexibility and sympathy brought to the lives of her family, friends and fans equally. She would be remembered her pioneering role, and her generosity, heat and heart.”
