Mumbai: The makers of the upcoming romantic comedy “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have announced their new release date.
On being taken to Instagram, Dharma Productions shared a poster characterized by Dhawan and revealed that the film was slapped to hit theaters on 2 October 2025. He wrote, “Sunny Sanskari’s poetry – ‘Yeh Anasoon Han Mere, Samadar Jal Naharan … Nahi !!!
In a poster with Quarki first-look, Varun is seen with his bright smile, as he gives a pose with a folded hands. In the image, Varun is seen donating a shiny beige embroidered shirt with accessories and sunglasses. The poster revealed the new release date of the film and presented Dhawan as Sunny Sanskari.
‘Student of the Year’ actor and Janhvi also shared the new poster and release date on his respective Instagram handle.
“Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari,” which was postponed several times, was scheduled to release on 12 September. Varun and Janhvi are once again reunited for Shashank Khete’s next direction venture, “Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari”. After sharing screen space in Bawal, this will be their second film together. The upcoming comedy may have identified Varun’s third partnership with director Shashank Khith, after its previous hit “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” and “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”.
The film also stars Akshay Oberoi, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra and Manish Paul.
Interestingly, “Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari will now close the horns with” Kanta: A Legend – Chapter 1 “and” EK Diwane Ki Deewaniit “.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is also ready for the release of “Param Belange” to hit theaters on 29 August. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan will be set for release next year in the Battle drama “Border 2”.
