The title sequence begins with a photographer from India being tortured by policemen in Korea. The police want the photographer to give them details of the location of the man they know as Kanakaraju. Initially, the photographer finds it difficult to understand because he does not know the language. When an interpreter (Ritika Nayak) arrives and translates what the police want from him, he says that he does not know where Kanakraju is. But then, on a full moon night, Kanakaraju (Varun Tej) enters the station and kills the Korean policemen with a samurai sword. He laughs awkwardly and says in Korean, “I’m back”, prompting the photographer to say, “This Kanakraju is not our Kanakraju…”

Ever since the announcement of the project, the film has raised huge expectations among fans and film lovers.

The fact that an Indian actor will be working on a joint Indo-Korean film has thrilled fans, who are curious to see how the film will turn out.

The film has music composed by S Thaman, one of the top music directors of South Indian cinema. Its art direction is being done by Paneer Selvam.

It is noteworthy that Varun Tej had left for Korea for the shooting of the film in mid-June last year. The unit completed its Anantapur schedule during the third week of May.

After starting with an auspicious puja ceremony in Hyderabad, the team shot in Anantapur, where the shooting took place across multiple locations including the iconic KIA grounds and picturesque village locations. A highlight of the Anantapur schedule was a visually stunning song sequence that was shot.

The program was the third in Korea. While the scenes filmed in the first two schedules had more of an element of humor as well as adventure, the Korea schedule featured more entertaining action sequences.
